Salesforce Admins: Turn Repeat Questions Into Reusable Training
“Hey, can you show me how to do that thing again in Salesforce?”
If you’re a Salesforce admin at a nonprofit, you’ve probably heard that question more than once.
Sometimes it’s how to log a phone call. Sometimes it’s where to record notes or how to assign a follow-up. These are reasonable questions—but walking everyone through the same steps can take time away from the other work your organization needs.
With Andrago, you can turn those repeated instructions into a lesson your team can revisit inside Salesforce or on your Experience Cloud site.
Here’s what that looks like.
Start with a question your team already asks
You don’t need an entire training program to create something useful.
Start with one process you find yourself explaining repeatedly.
In the video, we use a simple example: how to log a phone call in Salesforce.
The goal goes beyond showing someone which button to click. A useful call record should help a teammate understand:
What was discussed.
What needs to happen next.
Who is responsible for following up.
Imagine a volunteer calls to ask about orientation. Someone confirms the date and promises to send the details.
A note that says “Spoke with volunteer” leaves the next person guessing. A clear summary and an assigned follow-up task give the team something they can act on.
That’s the kind of everyday process a short lesson can help reinforce.
Give the explanation a place to live
When instructions are shared only during a call or in a chat message, the next person who needs them may never see them.
A reusable lesson gives your team a place to return to.
With Andrago, you can organize the instructions into learning content within the Salesforce environment your organization already uses. Staff can revisit the steps when they need a refresher, and new team members can learn from the same explanation.
For an admin, this creates a practical response to a familiar question:
“Here’s the lesson that walks through it. Take a look, and let me know where you get stuck.”
You’re still available to help. You also have a starting point that doesn’t require delivering the entire explanation again.
Give learners a chance to apply the instructions
At the end of the example, a short knowledge check asks learners to apply what they’ve just reviewed.
Can they recognize a useful call summary? Do they understand that mentioning someone in a note is different from assigning them a follow-up task?
Those questions help check understanding beyond whether someone reached the end of the lesson.
A quiz result doesn’t prove someone will perform every step correctly on the job. It can, however, help a training owner identify where another explanation or follow-up may be useful.
Keep progress visible in Salesforce
For identified, signed-in learners, Andrago lets training owners review completion and quiz results in Salesforce.
That gives them information to guide their next conversation. Who has completed the lesson? Who may need help with a particular step?
If you offer learning without a login, activity is still tracked under the site’s shared guest user. That provides activity data, but it won’t tell you which individual completed the lesson.
Choose the access approach that fits what you need to understand about your learners.
One question can help the whole team
For nonprofit teams balancing multiple responsibilities, even a small, reusable lesson can be useful.
An admin explains a process once. A trainer has a resource to share. Staff have somewhere to find the instructions again.
Start with the question you answered twice this week. Turn it into a lesson, add a quick knowledge check, and give your team a place to come back to.
